November 2016 Pantry by Try The World Box Review Wrap-Up
The November 2016 Pantry by Try The World box delivered delicious treats and condiments from around the world. When we customized our box, we gave lots of stars to candies, cakes and cookies and were excited that we got THREE sweet treats in this month’s gourmet essentials box. First up are the amazing, melt in your mouth truffles from Truffettes de France. We actually first tried this in last year’s Try The World Holiday Box and couldn’t wait to enjoy these again. There’s a hint of cocoa flavor when you first bite. The chocolate is so smooth and delicious. YUM!
Next were the Strawberry Turkish Delights. These are like gourmet gummy candies, but they’re made without gelatin. The delights have have a light strawberry flavor with bits of dried strawberry in the candy, and aren’t too sweet. The Swedish Almond Mini Cakes were the last sweet item in the box. They tasted like they were just baked and have a great almond flavor.
For savory cooking, November’s Pantry by Try The World box delivered a gourmet sauce and finishing salt. The honey mustard sauce from Argentina perfectly combines sweet and spicy. It’s perfect for adding some punch to virtually any protein. To add some heat, use the sea salt, pepper & chili seasoning. The red peppers and chili add just the right amount of spice to amp up your dish.
